Pharrell Williams Joins Andy Samberg For SNL Rap Skit

He's arguably taken over the title of "the hardest working man in showbusiness" from the late, great James Brown - so it's no surprise to see Pharrell Williams pop up as a guest rapper on another collaboration.

However the hip-hop phenomenon's latest partner is a little unusual: Brooklyn Nine-Nine star Andy Samberg.

The comic teamed-up with Pharrell for a tongue-in-cheek (but still rather catchy) number entitled HUGS on Saturday Night Live at the weekend.

The video clip accompanying the song sees Andy, Pharrell and a pal boasting about their "love 'em and leave 'em" approach to women when it comes to cuddles.

Sample lyrics include: "I'll be hugging on your momma, especially when your daddy's gone, wearing his pyjamas, I know you're thinking that it wrong."

And Pharrell is seen wearing a straw boater and red waistcoat, operating what appears to be a hugging kiosk - with a queue of eager female punters.

Samberg's opening monologue sees the funnyman attempt to break the record for the highest number of impressions performed on the show, with an hilarious quick-fire routine in which he does an ingenious impression of Pharrell.
