WE have exciting news! After last night’s explosive season finale, TV Guide is reporting exclusively that Matt Davis will be returning to The Vampire Diaries as a series regular next season. Check out what TV Guide had to say:
Alaric lives! Matt Davis is returning to The Vampire Diaries for Season 6 as a series regular, TVGuide.com has learned exclusively.
As everyone raced to save the Other Side on Thursday’s season finale, a few familiar faces, including Lexi (Arielle Kebbel) and Alaric, returned. But while Lexi was sucked up into the atmosphere with Vicki (Kayla Ewell), Alaric was left standing alongside his friends.
So huge congrats go out to Matt, and we couldn’t be more pleased to see him return! I know a lot of fans are! (And, not sure I would agree with TV Guide that Lexi is in the same place as Vicki, she seemed to be taken by a white light and found peace, but that’s just my opinion)
