Government Behind Curbs On Anna's fast, Says Kiran Bedi


Slamming  the government for the claim  that Anna Hazar was involved in corruption, civil society members Kiran  Bedi said Sunday that the government should take back the national honor given to the  social activist and the doubts his integrity.
"Padma Bhushan and Padma Anna Shri granted and if the government doubts his integrity, they must take back all the honors as the first criteria for such prices is integrity," said Bedi.
The former top Delhi Police official said that the government such statements under pressure ahead of Hazar indefinite fast on August 16 to press for a stronger Bill Lokpal make.
The Congress party Sunday hit back at Hazar, said that Gandhi's "be engaged in corruption," and this is proven by the Supreme Court appointed Justice Sawant Commission.
