Animal advocates had thought a long time ago, if you want people to pay attention, let them pictures of hot celebrities posing nude.
The most recent one in line was Brooke Hogan, daughter of wrestling legend has become reality TV star Hulk Hogan, who made it all naked in a cage for a photo shoot that appeared to be in support of PETA's "I'd Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur "campaign.
Evidenced by the photo exhibition, which took place in Wynwood's Cafeina Lounge last Thursday, was actually not a PETA-sponsored event and the Miami Herald had previously reported a few days.
"The photo shoot that Brooke Hogan attended was not a PETA-sponsored event. However, we are grateful that Brooke to participate in the photo exhibition in Miami, where the proceeds of the photos go toward lifesaving PETA," PETA said the Huffington Post.
The exhibition was curated by photographer Michael Jordan Zuniga entitled "Women in Cages," with the intention of creating awareness against animal cruelty.
Many celebrities have appeared nude in PETA campaign, including Christina Applegate and George Clooney's ex-girlfriend, Elisabetta Canalis.
Despite the slight misunderstanding, Brooke Hogan hopes her pictures the kind of attention she wanted.
"I hope it shocks them to a man instead of a see" animal. " We almost hit past the prejudice and racism among people alone, the following is animals. We are all God's creatures. Just because we do not speak the same language, does not mean they do not have feelings, "she told Miami New Times.
